No, no don’t worry this picture was taken long before the lockdown. Once I accidentally saw this mosque from far, and I had to choose this place for my photo shoot. But this photo shoot wasn’t easy with 3-4 people standing right in front of me and staring at me😬 Anyways hope this picture brings some colors to my feed and yours. The beautiful hijab is from @ghanzahijab and the kaftan @zohaal_couture
You use a glass mirror to see your face; you use works of art to see your soul. Thank you @psyco_mr_m for this✨
It’s very important to clean your hands by using alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water to protect yourself and others from getting sick. This is unavoidable right now. But unfortunately washing my hands very often exacerbate dry skin issues making my skin dry and cracked. . So one thing we can do at home is after washing our hands, apply a moisturizer after patting it dry, when the skin is still damp. I am particularly loving the @himalayaarabia Aloe Vera Face and Body Moisturizer Gel. I love this because it contains Aloe Vera enriched with Vitamin A & C, which is not just good for moisturizing the skin but also soothes irritated skin, leaving my skin smooth and soft. Very lightweight, non-sticky and absorbs immediately into the skin. #SayAloeToSkin #HimalayaArabia #DiscoverHerbal #herbalexpert
Until now, what we all wanted to do was stay home and do nothing. Always waiting for the weekend. Netflix and chill was so trending. We all missed our sleep. Everybody were advocates of self love and wished to find time for ourselves. I’m sure me time is a very over-saturated hashtag. Now when we actually get the chance then why are we complaining. This might be the only time in our life when we could stay home, do nothing and save the world. Sometimes its good to do nothing. Let’s stay home and do all the things we wished to do all this while. InshaaAllah our normal life will be back soon❤️
I really miss walking freely like this, breathing fresh air, meeting people and not having to worry about even a hand shake. But this too shall pass. So what if we have to stay indoors most of the time, so what if we don’t get to socialize, we together are fighting against this pandemic so that we prevent it from spreading and finally we could get rid of it completely from our world. This is the time to be kind and considerate towards our country, towards our people, towards the world. . I am not sharing about the measures to take as it’s already all over the internet. But please follow WHO updates about the same before blindly believing what you see online. And please don’t share any fake news. Most importantly this is a terrible situation we are going through, so don’t try to exploit the situation by any means for anything at all. . In fact, I recently saw a post by my friend Laura, and I really thought it was the best decision. She said that as the world is accelerating towards a total lock-down, many low-wage self-employed people are facing poverty and are also maybe sick with corona virus. So They’ll soon be unable to work through no fault of their own, and they shouldn’t have to choose between their health and their livelihood. So if there are any such people like cleaners, beauticians, babysitters etc whose service you have been using, now it’s the time to support them and help them financially, if you are in a good situation right now. I believe that’s a great thought and it is our responsibility towards the society. Also, don’t panic, we can overcome this InshaaAllah. Stay safe guys❤️
I wanted to post this post on women’s day. But then thought I should probably wait after all the women’s day hype to be over. To remind everyone that, women need appreciation, support, help and respect not just for one day but everyday. And you don’t have to do great things. Just a very small gesture can mean the world to her. . If there’s a woman that inspire you, tell her. If there’s something about a woman you like, let her know about it. If there’s a woman whose work you truly admire, let her know she’s doing great. If there’s a woman, that needs some support, give it. If a woman needs help, help her if you can. It’s as simple as that. We all need support and help, and sometimes just a small thing as saying you are doing great can motivate someone so much. . Outfit: @zohaal_couture
@zohaal_couture ✨ I always had a dream, a dream that despite all the failures, I couldn’t let go. @zohaal_couture is the name of my dream. This is my first step towards starting my fashion brand. Alhamdulillah. I am forever grateful to all the lovely people who have supported me until now. When I first started Instagram, I knew not even a single soul here and trust me, it wasn’t an easy journey. But I’m genuinely glad and have no words to express my gratitude towards you all, who were strangers once, but are now my friends and family. I look forward to your support in my new venture as well, InshaaAllah
Recently one parent I saw at my daughter’s school told me her daughter will become a doctor when she grow up and she asked me what my daughter want to be in the future. I said a unicorn🦄✨ I mean how in the world am I going to figure out what a 5 year old want to be when she grows up. Isn’t she so young? Even if she thinks she will be something now, her preferences and choices will change as she grows up right? And why should we be telling them what to be, I’m sure when my daughter grows up she can figure out all this by herself. Until then she is my unicorn, who believes in her dreams and who always makes me believe in magic✨ The magical smile which can make even the dullest day very beautiful, the magical hug which can make my worst day to be the best, the magical kiss which makes me believe I’m the luckiest mom in the world. . And btw this ride on unicorn is from @Mumzworld which she loves a lot. And if you are shopping there, don’t forget to use my code Husna10 @mumzworldcom
Is it okay to lose self-respect for your love? This was a topic I saw of a group discussion and surprisingly most people replied self-respect isn’t important if your love is true. . I seriously can’t understand what makes anybody think that its okay to compromise your self respect. I believe self-respect is important in any relationship. How can u expect anyone to respect u if you don’t yourself. And respect is crucial in any relationship. If your relationship is strong then you don’t have to sacrifice anything, certainly not yourself and your self respect. Probably most people misunderstand ego to be self respect and hence some think self respect is not important when it comes to live. Ego destroys a relationship but self respect is part of a healthy connection with yourself. And it only strengthens a relationship. 📸 @s.ahmedphotography
✨One of our biggest mistakes as a culture is accepting that we have “flaws”. We indeed do not have flaws. We have differences, we have different paths of learning and growth. Why do we continue to perpetuate the degradation of our culture by accepting this mindset? There is no such thing as a flaw in a system where perfection does not exist.✨
